Unarmed Security Guard

Overview:

We are seeking dedicated Security Guards to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our client’s customers and employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure security
  • Enforce property regulations and guidelines
  • Respond to alarms and security incidents
  • Provide assistance to customers and employees as needed
  • Complete reports on incidents and suspicious activities

Qualifications:

  • Must have a current MD Unarmed Guard Card or have the initial
  • 12-hour Security Guard Training. If you need the class, sign up for one of our classes.
  • Previous experience in security or related field is preferred
  • Must be able to stand for long periods at some sites
  • Strong conflict management/de-escalation skills
  • Strong communications skills
  • Strong conflict management skills
  • Understanding of loss prevention techniques
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a safe environment while utilizing your surveillance skills and conflict management expertise.

Hours are 8:30am-8:30pm. Contract for this position begins immediately.

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time

Pay: $17-$20 per hour (depending on the site)

Schedule:

Varies depending on site

Work Location: Prince George’s County and surrounding areas
